Is Filson original briefcase worth it?
Fantastic bag, but an ill fit for me and my personality on a daily basis. The Filson takes this to almost the other extreme. With leather straps, handles, and zipper pulls — heavy weight Twill instead of Dyneema or Cordura. It is unlike any other bag I have owned before.
How do you clean Filson briefcase?
If it gets dirty, simply wipe it down or brush it off. We don’t recommend spot cleaning with any type of soap or detergent. The wax treatment makes the fabric a bit darker than in its raw state, and cleaning with anything but water will strip out the wax, leaving a light spot.

How do you clean a Filson hat?
Do not wash or dry clean – brush or wipe clean with a damp rag. Rewax as needed to maintain maximum water resistance. To prevent the transfer of oils, we recommend avoiding prolonged contact between Filson oil finish goods and light-colored fabrics, especially in warm weather.

Raised in the Pacific Northwest, they grow a fleece that protects them during cold and wet Northwest winters, which makes their wool ideal for shielding us from the same weather. The long and sturdy fleece fibers are tightly spun into yarns with great tensile strength.
