Can you vote for BAFTA?

You can vote on the BAFTA Games Awards website. This year’s awards feature six nominees in each of the 16 categories.

How are BAFTA nominees chosen?

The programmes and performances attracting the most votes, usually four in each category, are shortlisted as the nominees for each award. The winner is chosen from the four nominees by a special jury of nine academy members for each award, the members of each jury selected by the Academy’s Television Committee.

How do I submit a film to Bafta?

To submit your film for consideration, please complete the BFI form, linked on the BAFTA Entry Information page. The submission deadline to the BFI is Tuesday 19 October 2021.

What is a Bafta qualifying festival?

The Qualifying Festivals List exists to identify qualifying entries for the British Short Film category in the annual BAFTA Film Awards. The British Short Film award is open to films of under 40 minutes with significant creative involvement by British individuals.
