Is it worth buying helium tank?
The Verdict. While you need more cash outlay up front, you’ll get more helium for a lower price when you are renting a tank as opposed to buying a disposable one. If you have more than 50 x 9″ or more than 27 x 12″ latex balloons to fill, renting a tank is your best choice. It’s also better for the environment.

Can helium tank explode?
Helium tanks cannot explode. The reason is because the cylinders are equipped with an approved burst disc. It is located on the top of the tank next to the handles. In case of any unforeseen circumstances, such as a fire, the cylinder will release gas in a controlled manner and will not explode.
How long do helium balloons last?
Standard size latex balloons stay afloat for approx 8 – 12 hours when filled with helium, whereas helium filled foil balloons float for 2-5 days.
